I am inviting all who are interested to join me from November 1-8 to pray at a cemetery each day. Doing so allows for each of us to receive a plenary indulgence (the remission of ALL temporal punishment (purgatory) of sin) for a deceased person. A few things about indulgences: 1) you must be in a state of grace when the act is performed, 2) you must have the intention of gaining an indulgence, 3) you must make a confession, even if in a state of grace and receive the Eucharist, the closer the better but within 20 days before or after, 4) have detachment from all sin, even venial, 5) pray for the intentions of the Pope. I will be hosting candlelit prayers every evening from November 1-8 at a cemetery in Lancaster. If you are interested, please join the group I created. This will prevent phones from being blown up. These indulgences mist be for the deceased during Nov 1-8 and you can only receive one a day.
