Grand Knight’s Message – June 2025

Brother Knights,

Summer is here! Let’s take this time to enjoy the warm sunshine, vacations, Cookouts

with family and friends. As a council we are very busy September through May with

lots of events. But the work of God doesn’t entirely stop for the summer. We do have

some events that continue such as the monthly food drive, the Tuesday rosary and

rosary before each Mass, council meetings and our collection for Special Olympics on

Father’s Day weekend. So please help where you can.

Also of note: The Church dedicates June to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

This tradition dates to the 17th century when St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French

nun, had visions of Jesus Christ revealing His Sacred Heart to her. This devotion to the

Sacred Heart of Jesus became popular and spread throughout the Catholic Church.

During the month of June, we are encouraged to deepen our devotion to the Sacred

Heart of Jesus through prayer, reflection, and acts of charity.

Remember, our Council meets every THIRD Thursday of the month. For those who

have not been able to attend, I hope you consider joining us as your schedule permits. It

is one of those opportunities we have to build fellowship and bonds. We try to keep the

meetings to an hour with refreshments.

And lastly, I’m including a YouTube link for this year’s presentation of the Living

Last Supper. Please share with your family and friends. And once again, I thank

everyone who participated and helped to make it a successful event.
